Founded with a mission to eightysix (get rid-of) single-use plastic, we scoured the globe (and the internet) for a natural product that actually worked. We’re by industry for industry, so when we found a product we liked, we tested it with our entire community of venue-owners, bartenders, baristas, and friends. We travelled to the source. We visited the people, the farms, and the factories that produce our product so we could learn the entire process first-hand.

After months of research, thousands of miles travelled, and hundreds of drinks sipped that we were finally ready to present to you the eightysix grass straw; The only single-use alternative to the plastic straw that gets stronger in your glass and is farmed regeneratively. Not plant-based, but literally a plant. A sedge grass that has grown naturally all over the world for millions of years, is harvested in its natural environment, and processed without any chemicals or additives, ever. Actually functional and sustainable.
